Chilean Money

Like the food post, I wanted to take pictures of something that people don't commonly take pictures of, but is a large part of anyone's traveling experience, money.

Chilean pesos in the denominations of: 10, 50, 100, 500, 100 (non-copper version), 5, and 1

Here is what is known as a "luca". Don't ask me why, but that's the nickname for the thousand peso bank note. This is currently the equivalent of around 2 US dollars.
This is a "Gabriela" so-called because it features Gabriela Mistral, it is a 5000 peso note.
You don't find the 20,000 peso note as often as the denominations below it. Probably for the same reason you don't often encounter denominations over $20 in the US, it has a high value, around $40 USD.
